It was a celebration and night to remember for the staffs and the management when they had 2nd Annual Dinner on Feb 10, 2007. The theme of the night was “Kampung Nite” which means a kampong lifestyle, that the villagers are living in a harmonic and peaceful phenomena.  Hence, everyone was wearing colorful Malay costumes at that night. There were more than 100 guests who included the staffs, main supporters as well as the top management attended the annual dinner.

The Resort Manager Adrian Van Dooren was very inspiring and he had emphasized ‘well done’ towards the staffs and management for their commitments and loyalty in their work during his welcome speech.

In addition, the Managing Director Mr. David Sie who officiated the opening ceremony thanked all the staffs and management for their creativities, dedications and hard works in this hospitality industry. “All departments play important roles in promoting Tourism Malaysia. As year 2007 is defined as the Visit Malaysia Year, we have great responsibility to ensure to achieve the expected success in bringing millions of tourists to our beautiful country,” he added.

There were several awards and performances presented during the annual dinner i.e. Best Dance Performance, Best Costume, Mr. & Mrs. Kampung Nite etc. The climax awards of the night, Best Department, Employee of the year, Appreciation for Reliability and Hard Work/Long hours Award.

Adding to this, there were several interesting activities on the day, such as diving, snorkeling, treasure hunt, lucky draws, fashion designer & loly pop eater competition and life band presentation.
